Well, at least they aren't the typical high school students that comes to my mind. They smoke, drink, and engage in sexual activities. These two seniors are not the typical high school students. Starting as a freshman, Charlie engages in a strong relationship with two seniors. Inside of this spectacular piece of literature, an anonymous boy who goes by the name Charlie, writes about his adventures through high school. Perhaps one of the most influential books is "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky. My mind is fogged with doubt and is awaiting a bright path to my future. Rejection eventually leads to failure not only in education, but in life as well. The images of rejection are unbearable on the human soul. If the grade of “C” is to be printed on my transcript, then the colleges will be sure to reject me. However, I think of the long-term repercussions. Sure, the thought of failing the test is horrendous. What’s worse is that I have an exam tomorrow. The petrifying lessons and the terrifying tests are enough to engrave the image of suicide to someone with low intellectual capabilities. Unfortunately, the grade that I may receive is not a “B”, but in fact a “C”. I’ll admit, the class is hard and I wish that I would have listened to my peers, my friends, and the teacher. Engaging in a high school life, but sacrificing life as a whole, the class has demolished my confidence.
Hearing that a former student was not able to get valedictorian of the school because of AP Physics, I still remained enrolled in the class. After having much encouragement to drop the class, I decided not to conform to their ways and remained enrolled in the wretched class. What has also made me even more scared is reading a website written by "Bitter Asian Men" who says simply that "White girls don't like us." The fear and lack of confidence are two things that I must overcome. However, it seems as though my fear of rejection has taken over my body. I really want to converse with her now and during the holiday vacation. I pass by her everyday and have exchanged some eyecontact although it was only to see who would move out of the way (which is always me). She's caucasion, blondish/brown hair, and has very attractive blue eyes the perfect girl that I've dreamed of. There is this girl at school that I've had my eye on for a while. Fortunately, after conversing with my teachers, there is still hope.įor the first time, I feel that it is time for my to write about my social/personal life. It was then that I realized that I could no longer act calm about my two AP classes. It was heartbreaking, torture, and it ruined the rest of my day. My teacher had posted the grades on the wall and I noticed that I dropped one whole letter grade. Thinking that the worst has already come, I encountered something even more tragic. And unfortunately, I was not able to finish due to the speed of time.
Luckily to say, my physics exam was not as terrifying as I expected, but also not as trival and easy as I hoped for. Waking up, I rushed to study some more, and then headed to school. After spending many hours studying for my AP Physics examination, I hurried to sleep for an astonishing seven hours.
